Dr. Wei received his Ph.D. in EE from Yale University, Connecticut. He joined TSMC in 1998 and currently is Senior VP of Business Development. Prior to TSMC, he was Senior VP of Technology in Chartered Semiconductor Mfg from 1993 to 1997. Before Chartered Semiconductor, he was with ST Microelectronics USA as Senior manager in charge of LOGIC and SRAM technology development. Prior to ST Microelectronics, he was with Texas Instruments as Member of Technical Staff.
