Dr. Wei received his Ph.D. in EE from Yale University, Connecticut. He joined TSMC in 1998 and now is Senior VP of Operations I. Prior to TSMC, he was Senior VP of Technology in Chartered Semiconductor Mfg from 1993 to 1997. And before Chartered Semiconductor, he was with ST Microelectronics USA as Senior Manager in charge of LOGIC and SRAM technology development. Before ST Microelectronics, he was with Texas Instruments as Member of Technical Staff.
