TSMC's mission is to be the trusted technology and capacity provider of the global logic IC industry for years to come, and quality is one of the most important cornerstones, which TSMC relies on to maintain customer’s trust. In an effort to continuously improve the company's internal quality training, TSMC launched the “Quality Excellence Training Program” in September, 2018. As of May 2019, 39,600 employees have completed this training program, and the benefits of the quality training continue to be generated.

A Top-down Cascade of Quality Awareness, and TSMC Implements High Quality Standard

Dr. C.C. Wei, CEO of TSMC, has expressed on various occasions that every employee of TSMC must “consider quality as what you would demand of yourself, and be responsible for the reputation and responsibility placed upon you” to ensure the Company offers the best wafer manufacturing services and becomes a trusted technology and capacity provider.

Trust comes from the wafers we provide to our customers, which customers can use with peace of mind. For the company to be sustainable, in addition to technology and capacity, what we need the most is
quality that is widely respected.
