Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. – November 19, 2010 - TSMC (TWSE:2330, NYSE:TSM) today received the 2010 Taiwan CSR Awards’ “Gold Award” for manufacturing, the highest honor granted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy. This was TSMC’s second consecutive year to win the Gold Award, which recognizes the company’s 2009 Corporate Social Responsibility Report as well its continued efforts in corporate governance, social welfare, and environmental protection.

The 2010 Taiwan CSR Awards Ceremony was held today at the MOTC Convention Center, and Vice President Vincent Siew attended as guest of honor.
